Course Overview:
This course enables participants to understand the operations carried out by Directional Drillers and contribute to the design of Directional and/or Horizontal wells. The course covers the fundamentals, design considerations and operational aspects of Directional and Horizontal Drilling.
Course Objective:
This course is designed to introduce trainee directional driller to the basics of:
- Directional drilling.
- Designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to design simple deviated well profiles.
- Select, design and operate bottom hole assemblies, drill a deviated well trajectory and define Surveying programs.
- Programs to insure the student become familiar with the elementary directional drilling.
- Be familiar of RSS, Hydraulics.
